Rajshahi University admission tests begin today

Admission tests for the first year honours courses of 2008-2009 academic session of Rajshahi University will start today. Sources said 342,119 admission forms were sold for 47 departments under eight faculties against 3,180 seats. As per schedule, admission tests will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am, 11:00am to 12:00 noon, 1:00pm to 2:00pm and 3:00pm to 4:00pm till November 29. The authorities concerned on Saturday held a meeting at Senate Bhaban. The chairmen of all the departments were present at the meeting. The authorities have taken necessary steps so that admission seekers can take their tests without any trouble. Proctor Enamul Haque said a large contingent of police would be deployed on the campus to avert untoward incident.
