Documentary: Muktijuddher Itihash launches

CD and DVD of a documentary featuring history of the Liberation War titled ‘Muktijuddher Itihash’ has been launched at a function at a city hotel recently. Eminent educationist Prof Mustafa Nurul Islam, politician Dr Kamal Hossain, economist Dr Atiur Rahman, drama activist Prof Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, Trustee of the Liberation War Museum Dr Sarwar Ali, editor of daily Jugantor Golam Sarwar, editor of daily Bhorer Kagoj Shyamal Dutta, editor of fortnightly Anandaalo Rezanur Rahman, band artiste Ayub Bachchu, singer Shuvro Dev, among others, were present at the launching ceremony. Chief Adviser of ATN Bangla Saiful Bari gave welcome speech.
Later the 90-minute documentary was screened at the programme.
After screening of the documentary, invited guests spoke on the occasion and shared their feelings on the Liberation War. Journalist Kamal Lohani said, “This documentary film is an important document for us from which real history of the Liberation War could be found.”
Chairman of ATN Bangla Dr Mahfuzur Rahman gave concluding speech at the function.
