Digital lifestyle fair next month

A digital lifestyle fair is going to be held on June 26-28 in the capital. The three-day exposition aims to promote digital products and services to help build a digital Bangladesh, Gmaks, an event management firm, told a press conference at the National Press Club yesterday. As many as 60 companies, including telecom, IT, ISP, website design and hosting, software and hardware firms, will take part in the fair to be held at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre.
The fair will remain open to visitors from 10:00am to 8:00pm everyday.
On the sidelines of the fair, seminars and workshops on various digital topics will also be organised.
Quiz contest and game-show will also be arranged to woo and entertain college and university-level students. There will be no entrance tickets for students wearing school uniform.
Gmaks Chief Executive Officer Abdullah M Taher and other high officials of the company were present at the press conference.
