National Bank gives scholarship and award to talented students

National Bank Limited organized a function to distribute Scholarship, Certificate of appreciation and Crest among the Scholar Awards of the Employees of the Bank under NBL Employees Welfare Scheme at Bangladesh-China Friendship Center, Share-E-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka recently. Total 85 students who secured outstanding result in the SSC and HSC examinations held in 2008 had been awarded with scholarship.
Moazzam Hossain, Chairman of National Bank Limited attended the function as the Chief Guest while Md Abdur Rahman Sarker, Managing Director presided over the meeting.
A K M Shafiqur Rahman, Senior Executive Vice President and Company Secretary delivered his welcome address and Azizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director delivered his vote of thanks on the occasion.
Among other the meeting was attended by Masqur Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Senior Executives, Officers and Staff of the Bank and Parents of Scholar Students.
It may be mentioned that National Bank Employees’ Welfare Scheme was formed in 1997.
