Poison-mixed foods served to Hasina in jail: Sajeda

Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury today alleged that poison-mixed foods were served to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in jail during the last caretaker government.
Speaking at a programme marking the 84th birth anniversary of late national leader AHM Kamruzzaman, Sajeda said Hasina, also president of the ruling Awami League, was tortured in prison.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina became sick in prison as she was provided with poison-mixed foods,” said Sajeda, also a senior presidium member of the AL.
She alleged that an ear of Hasina was damaged due to the poison-mixed foods adding that the prime minister still feels sick sometimes.
Sajeda said the past BNP gave the opportunity to whiten black money in order to bring the siphoned off money back to the country.
