Chevron hands over 300 scholarships to school students at Bibiyana

FE Report — Chevron Bangladesh has recently announced its Bibiyana scholarship programme-2009 of Tk 6,000 each for 300 financially disadvantaged but meritorious students of nine educational institutions in the region.
Chevron Bangladesh Asset Development Manager Dale Brown handed over the scholarships at a function at Bibiyana to 40 students of Nadampur High School selected on the basis of their financial need and academic performance, said a press release.
The headmaster Pradip Ranjan Das, chairman and co-chairman of the school managing committee Sanwar Khan and Khaled Ahmed Pathan, Chevron’s Bibiyana Gas Plant Superintendent John M Russum, Instrumentation, Electrical and Metering Superintendent Steven Spradley, Community Relations Manager Obaidullah Al Ejaz and Field Community Engagement Manager Zulfikar Ahmed Chowdhury were present along with students, guardians and faculty of the school.
