Nurul Islam Nahid also asked the private university authorities to make the higher education affordable by ensuring technological facilities for all. “The government wants to see quality higher education in the private universities as the public universities can’t accommodate the large numbers of students due to seat constraints,” the Education Minister said.
He sought cooperation from the private universities in developing condition of the marginalised people in society.
Emphasising internet use, Nahid urged the university students to contribute to the nation-building processes by using information communication technology.
