SSC exams now begin Feb 11

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations will start on February 11 instead of February 1 due to the 11th South Asian Games.
The decision was taken at an inter-ministerial meeting led by Education Secretary Syed Ataur Rahman at education ministry on Monday.
The 10-day South Asian Games, to be launched on January 29, will be held at 23 venues around the country under management of the Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).
At a press briefing at the secretariat on January 3 this year, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement that the SSC examinations would begin from February 1 across the country.
