4 UPDF members held with arms

Four members of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) were arrested along with two firearms at Naniarchar upazila of Rangamati Sunday night.
The arrestees were identified as Itang Chakma, 22, of Kathaltali, Binoy Chakma, 21, of Bagchhari, Juthika Chakma, 20, of Sabekkhang and Ratna Chakma, 18, of Kuttumara village in the upazila, reports our Rangamati correspondent.
Police said army personnel, on information, conducted a raid at the UPDF office in T&T area and arrested its four members along with a light gun and a pipe gun at about 10:00pm.
Later, the arrestees were handed over to Naniarchar police.
