Junior School Certificate exams start Nov 4

The first-ever Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations for the students of Class VIII will start on November 4 this year.
Some 15,20,000 students — 12, 48,000 from schools and 2, 72, 000 from madrasas — across the country will sit for the exams under eight general education boards and one madrasa education board.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told this to reporters at a press conference at Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday.
The JSC and JDC examinations will end on November 15 and November 14 respectively.
